Overwhelmed

Overwhelmed...  That is the feeling that Robin and I have as we start the next phase of this journey.  We are not feeling overwhelmed because of the diagnosis.  We are not feeling overwhelmed because of the surgery.  We are comfortable that God has us in His hands.

We are feeling overwhelmed because of the incredible outpouring of support from our friends and family!

Phone calls... texts... FaceBook messages...  Posts on FB and Instagram...  Offers to help... Prayers from all over the world.

Old hockey families that we haven't spoken to since Kyle hung up his skates have reached out.  LAX friends... Church friends... People that Sydney and I have had to opportunity to serve at Lighthouse have reached out...  The list just goes on and on.

The only way that I can describe our feelings right now is OVERWHELMED!

Something Robin would NEVER say but I will.  This is just a small indication of what an incredible woman it is that I get to call my wife.  She has touched so many people with her willingness to pour into them.  You cannot understand how much your willingness to reach out to her during this time has poured into her!

Please excuse us if we haven't responded to you directly.  We truly appreciate each and every one of them and will try to respond over then next few days.

She is in her pre-op process right now with the actual operation scheduled for 11am.

I plan to provide updates through this blog so I can keep as many updated as I can.  Feel free to text me or message me if you have something you want me to share with her after her surgery.  770.241.7016
